Trinity Electric Lady
Meet Trinity
Trinity is a Female Electric Lead Guitarist, Vocalist, song-writer and Multi-instrumentalist from Nashville, Tennessee who plays music for the Lord!
Trinity began performing in Las Vegas Nevada in 1988 where she was invited to showcase her talents in many well-known casinos such as Caesar's Palace, Palace Station, The Tropicana, The Dunes, The Landmark, The Mint, and Arizona Charlie's just to name a few. Trinity also performed regularly in a variety of coffee houses and Bookstores including the Cafe Copioh, The Enigma, Jitters, Barnes&Noble, and Borders. Local club venues include: Legends, The Boston, Crown&Anchor, Bilbo's, Double Down, Pepper's, Wilson's and many more. Las Vegas audiences call her the Female Hendrix due to her Classic 60's and 70's style Guitar Riffs and extended experimental Guitar solos.
Born in Paintsville, Kentucky (named for the many Native American Petroglyphs found in the area) and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Trinity comes from a very interesting and diverse line of ancestors. Her relatives include: William and Catherine Booth who founded the Salvation Army, Jack Dempsey - Famed Boxer, Jesse James - Famous Outlaw, John Wilkes Booth - Thespian, and a long line of Christian Ministers (Praise the Lord!) and Cherokee Natives.
Trinity showed signs that she was musical at a very young age. By the age of three Trinity was picking out tunes on the Piano, Singing lead and harmony notes on key and playing drums. Coming from a strong musical background, her Great Grandmother played the Banjo, her Grandmother is a Vocalist who also plays Piano and Organ, and her Mother who at one time sang backup for Janis Joplin later became a professional Country Music singer who performed on shows with the Oak Ridge Boys, Barbara Mandrell, Waylon Jennings, and more.
Trinity practically grew up backstage at the Grand Old Opry and was privileged to have had the opportunity to get to know some of Country Music's greats like Minnie Pearl, Chet Atkins, Johnny and June Cash, Bill Monroe, Roy Acuff, Little Jimmy Dickens, Grandpa Jones and many others. Growing up in Nashville, around such gifted musician's who were so genuine and generous, was such a treat for Trinity. Mostly everyone there played by ear and Trinity took this opportunity to look, listen, and learn how to "keep it real!"
Trinity's been following The Lord since the age of 7, and at age 9 she read the King James version of the Bible from cover-to-cover, an experience that would reveal what was and was to come. Shortly after reading the Bible it was revealed to her that she had a calling in music and she was now able to pick up a variety of musical instruments and immediately play tunes on them note for note without having any formal training. Trinity asked her mother to take her down to Friedman's Loans, a pawn shop that was located in downtown Nashville and they purchased an Acoustic Guitar, Electric Bass, 6-string Banjo, Fiddle, Mandolin and a Piano from a local Studio. Trinity went home, turned on the Radio and pulled out her mother's old 60's albums and began to play along practicing everyday, and experimenting with different playing styles and Genres.
Though Music has always been Trinity's life-long passion, she is also an Artist, Jeweler and Jewelry Designer, website Designer and has interests in Interior Design, Photography, Animals and Computers. In the year 2000 the Lord called her out of the Las Vegas club scene and into music ministry. Before she knew it, she had written enough material for two Christian albums and began recording. All Songs, Vocals and Instruments were Written, Produced and Performed by Trinity and the album was completed in just one week. This album was called Songs for the Soul and is a mixture of Electronica, Rock, Blues, Jazz and Acoustic. Trinity is currently in the studio in South Florida recording her new album, Songs for the Soul to The Ancient of Days!
